‘Christians Who Also Carry a Badge’

People are what they believe. It is ridiculous--in fact tragic--to discriminate against people who believe in the divinity of Jesus, and are good and helpful enough to express that belief in their lives. Are they doing a good job on the police force? If so, we should hold them up for honor, not ridicule.
I heard Bob Vernon, assistant L.A. police chief, speak in Santa Barbara last year, and what he said both honored God and the LAPD.
We need more people in public service who can and will speak of the good in their lives. This can only benefit us, the people they are serving!
