El Toro’s Vistaunet to Attend Long Beach

Al Vistaunet, who helped El Toro High School to the 1987 South Coast League volleyball championship, has signed a letter of intent to attend Cal State Long Beach in the fall, the college announced Tuesday.
Vistaunet, a 6-foot 4-inch outside hitter, was picked as the most valuable player of the Orange County all-star game and was voted to the Southern Section 4-A first team earlier this spring.
Vistaunet will join former El Toro teammate Ryan Mennealy, a setter, who signed with Long Beach in June.
