Bill Krueger of Albuquerque pitched a seven-inning no-hitter Friday night, giving the Dukes a 9-5, 2-0 sweep of the Phoenix Firebirds in a Pacific Coast League doubleheader at Phoenix.
Krueger, who was struggling with a 4.56 earned-run average, evened his record at 7-7. He allowed only one base runner--on an error--striking out five and walking none.
