Victim of Stabbing Found Dead in Bathtub

San Diego homicide detectives are investigating the death of a Southeast San Diego man who was found dead in his bathtub Sunday.
The victim, whose name was withheld pending notification of relatives, was discovered in his residence in the 2000 block of J Street by two friends who entered at 5:35 p.m. after finding the front door ajar, police said. He was fully clothed and apparently died of a knife wound to his neck, police said.
Officers found that the residence had been ransacked and the man’s vehicle was apparently missing, police said.
