Crews widened their “hands and knees” search of a rugged Oregon hillside that has yielded six bodies, five of them young women. But authorities said it is too early to tell whether the hill near Dickey Prairie is a new dumping ground for Washington state’s Green River Killer, believed responsible for the slayings of 37 women in the Northwest and the disappearances of nine others between 1982 and 1984.
