THE POPE’S LEFTOVERS
Regarding the nasty remarks about Pope John Paul II’s meals by letter-writers Barbara and Ralph Goldstein (Calendar Letters, Sept. 20), I trust that they will send down leftovers to the hungry outside St. Vibiana’s the next time they eat prime rib, shrimp, lobster or pate.
The “rabbi from Nazareth” himself ate lamb chops at least once a year at Passover.
