Phoenix College Names Babcock Interim Coach

PHOENIX — Dave Babcock, who had previously been an assistant at the University of San Diego and San Diego State, has been named interim basketball coach at Phoenix College, school officials announced Wednesday.
Babcock, 29, replaces his brother Rob, who resigned last week from the junior college position to take a scouting job with the NBA’s Denver Nuggets.
Dave Babcock had also previously been an assistant coach at Phoenix’s Moon Valley High School and Grand Canyon College.
