Chaminade Chases 2nd Tennis Title

Chaminade High begins defense of its Southern Section 2-A Division title with a home match against Palmdale today in the first round of the girls tennis playoffs.
Chaminade, the No. 1-seeded team in the playoffs, won the title last season by defeating Indio in a tiebreaker. In another 2-A match, Louisville, seeded third, visits Saugus.
In the 3-A Division, Hart plays host to Warren and Thousand Oaks, the 3-A runner-up, visits La Canada. Agoura visits Cerritos and Westlake plays host to Nogales.
In other matches, La Reina, last year’s 1-A Division runner-up, visits Thacher, Buckley visits Cate and Tehachapi visits Campbell Hall.
