Moving to bolster its sagging Saturday night lineup, CBS on Thursday axed the two lowest-rated entertainment series on its schedule, “Everything’s Relative” and “Leg Work,” and shelved “My Sister Sam” temporarily.
The network said it will fill the 8-10 p.m. Saturday slot “on an interim basis” with a movie block, beginning Nov. 14. The low-rated news magazine “West 57th” will remain in the 10 p.m. position.
“Everything’s Relative,” a comedy, and “Leg Work,” a detective show, premiered Oct. 3 and have been near the bottom of the ratings every week. “My Sister Sam,” a second-year comedy series, will remain in production and will return to the prime-time schedule later, CBS said.
