Two armed men robbed a Westminster bookstore and several customers of about $2,000 in cash and jewelry Wednesday night, police said.
The men charged through the front door of Nhut Phanh, a bookstore at 9321 Bolsa Avenue, shortly before 7 p.m., according to Lt. Steve Martinez.
The men ordered the owner, a clerk and three customers to hand over their wallets, watches and other jewelry, Martinez said. The robbers returned the wallets, emptied of cash, before fleeing out the front door. No one was reported injured.
One of the victims saw the men driving away in a small, red car, Martinez said.
