Windy Triple K. Pulls Upset at Santa Anita

Longshot Windy Triple K. led all the way Thursday in winning the $48,650 Taisez Vouz Stakes by 1 lengths over Irish Lord’s Miss before a crowd of 15,062 at Santa Anita’s Oak Tree meeting.
Windy Triple K., ridden by Patrick Valenzuela, covered seven furlongs on a sloppy track in 1:24 and paid $17.80, $8.20 and $2.60. The victory was worth $27,050.
