Philip J. Dion, a Del E. Webb Corp. senior executive since 1982, has been named the company’s chairman and chief executive.
Dion, 42, was named acting chief executive Oct. 30 following the resignation of Robert K. Swanson. Dion had been promoted to president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer in May.
Del E. Webb Corp., headquartered in Phoenix, manages and develops retirement communities, real estate and leisure operations.
