Yugoslavia Devalues Dinar 25%

BELGRADE, Yugoslavia — The dinar was devalued by almost 25% today to try to boost exports in Yugoslavia’s latest in a series of measures to alleviate an economic crisis. The action followed stiff price increases of up to 70% and curbs on wage increases in recent days.
