Sly Stone was charged with cocaine possession for the second time in less than a year in a Santa Monica court Monday. Police said they discovered the drug on Stone when he was arrested last week for allegedly failing to pay $2,500 in child support. Last December, he was charged with possession after being stopped for a traffic violation in West Hollywood. Stone was freed from custody Monday after posting $10,000 bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned on the new cocaine charge Dec. 10. He faces a pretrial hearing on the previous cocaine charge Dec. 8.
