Investigators said Tuesday that they had few clues in the killing of a Sun Valley man found shot to death on a sidewalk along Laurel Canyon Boulevard.
Los Angeles police said Ruben Macias, 20, was found by passers-by about 9 p.m. Monday next to Laurel Canyon Boulevard where it crosses over the Golden State Freeway. Police said Macias, who had recently been living at his sister’s Sun Valley home after moving from East Los Angeles, had been shot repeatedly.
“We don’t know who did it or why they did it,” said Sgt. Ray Davies.
