Pop singer Linda Ronstadt closed the 10-day Acapulco Film Festival this week with songs from her new Spanish-language record, “Songs for My Father,” and a duet with singer Lola Beltran, queen of ranchera music in Mexico. The performance was broadcast nationally as part of the closing ceremonies for the 10-day festival in the Pacific resort. The Arizona-born singer’s father is of Mexican descent. The festival, which featured 60 movies from 17 countries, as well as television, video, radio and music, was revived this year after a 19-year hiatus.
