Twenty-two county-resident arts organizations have been awarded $89,900 in grants by the National-State-County Partnership, a grant program administered by the Los Angeles County Music and Performing Arts Commission.
The partnership was created to address the needs of emerging, experimental and other county-resident arts organizations with limited access to private, corporate or governmental funding. Grants, awarded every six months to artists and organizations of various artistic disciplines, ranged from $7,000 for the Woman’s Building to $2,000 for the California Traditional Music Society.
