A five-time convicted felon who is a key jail-house informant in the McMartin Pre-School molestation trial pleaded guilty Tuesday to robbing a woman at gunpoint in her home.
George Freeman pleaded guilty to a single count of robbery as his preliminary hearing was set to begin in Glendale Municipal Court. Judge Barbara Burke ordered Freeman to remain in custody in lieu of $255,000 bail pending sentencing Feb. 9 in Superior Court.
Freeman, 45, has testified that, while they shared a prison cell briefly in 1984, McMartin defendant Raymond Buckey admitted molesting children.
