Man Held in Break-In at O’Connor Residence

NEW YORK — A man was arrested Tuesday after breaking into the mid-town residence of Roman Catholic Cardinal John J. O’Connor and menacing a staff member with a knife, police said. No one was reported injured.
Police said they were trying to confirm the suspect’s identity. He was charged with burglary, attempted assault, weapon possession, unlawful imprisonment, menacing, criminal mischief and marijuana possession.
