Rites Held for Abe Balinoff, 66

Several hundred friends and family members attended funeral services last week for Culver City businessman Abe Balinoff, 66, who died Jan. 19.
With his brother, Saul, Balinoff was co-owner and operator of the B & B Hardware Store in Culver City for the last 36 years.
He was a member of the Mar Vista Optimist Club, B’nai B’rith and the Jewish War Veterans, among others, and was a patron of the University of Judaism.
Balinoff was a member of the Kehilat Ma’arav synagogue in Brentwood.
In addition to his wife, Edith, Balinoff is survived by a son, a daughter, three brothers, a sister and six grandchildren.
