Hotel Strike Ends in Mexico

MEXICO CITY — A strike by 6,500 employees of hotels and other tourist facilities ended today after settlement of a dispute over which union would represent workers at one luxury hotel.
A leader of the largest group in the dispute at the Acapulco Princess and head of a local of the Mexican Labor Federation said he dropped his group’s claim under pressure from the state governor, the hotel and others.
