Vigil Held in Attempt to Resurrect Minister

ADA, Okla. — Police say members of a church conducted a 10-hour prayer vigil over their minister’s body in hopes they could resurrect him.
Donald Ray Riddle, 49, pastor of the Church of Body of Christ, died Sunday morning, but authorities were not notified until that night, Detective Mike Miller said.
A medical examiner ruled Tuesday that Riddle died of complications from diabetes. Authorities said he had been bedridden but refused medical treatment, and told his family to pray for his resurrection after he died.
