Marathon Reading of ‘Trinity’ Prompts Call for Repeat Event

Regarding the Garden Grove Theatre Company’s marathon reading of “Trinity”:
As one who attended the last 12 hours of the 29-hour marathon, I can only applaud the superb delivery of the fine actors who made the Leon Uris novel come alive. (There were) moving performances (by) many fine actors, including Julian Gamble and Greg Mortensen.
This St. Patrick’s Day reading was a wonderful event--one that Orange County can be proud of. Producer Wayne C. Watkins deserves kudos for his vision and his commitment to such a project.
Let’s hope this can become a yearly ritual so that other Orange Countians can experience first-class drama and literature right in our own back yards.
