Office, Apartment Buildings Planned on Triangle Site

Plans for a $22-million mixed-use development adjacent to Burbank’s media district have been unveiled by the Chandler Group, Burbank. The commercial and multifamily development would occupy a 6.5-acre triangle bounded by Hollywood Way, Whitnall Highway and Verdugo Avenue.
The project calls for a $3.5- million, 3-story office building, surrounded by an $18.5-million, 249-unit apartment and a 4-acre public park. Construction is to begin in September, with completion scheduled for February, 1990.
Johannes Van Tilburg & Partners, Santa Monica, is the architect.
