Woman Dies After Being in Coma for 27 Years

LYON, France — A woman died on Monday at the age of 30 after spending 27 years of her life in a coma, hospital officials said. They said Patricia Dalloz-Furet went into a coma in 1961 after undergoing a minor operation in a hospital near this southeastern city. She never recovered consciousness.
