Sarah McKinley Ott has been appointed executive director of the newly formed South Lake Business Improvement District, Pasadena. Formerly a publicity director for Bullock’s Westwood and Lakewood, Ott has had her own consulting business for the past six years.

Gregory T. Smith has been named president of Baldwin San Diego, a subsidiary of the Baldwin Co. Smith is the first president of the firm and is a principal in the parent company. Baldwin San Diego is responsible for the development of nearly 3,000 acres throughout San Diego County.

Donald Lynch, formerly senior vice president in charge of the retail/commercial division of Maxwell Starkman & Associates, has been appointed director of architecture for McClellan Cruz Gaylor & Associates Architects in Pasadena. Lynch will oversee project management and production.
