“Slow Growth or Bureaucratic Nightmare” will be the topic of a public forum Thursday sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Orange County.
Attorneys Belinda Blacketer and Gregory A. Hile, co-authors of the Citizens Sensible Growth and Traffic Control initiative on the June 7 countywide ballot, will defend Measure A against criticism leveled by attorney John Simon and Cammile Courtney, officials of Citizens for Traffic Solutions, the opposition’s key campaign organization.
The 7:30 p.m. forum will be held at El Toro High School, 25255 Toledo Way, between El Toro Road and Lake Forest Drive.
The discussion will begin with some background information provided by Terry Austin, traffic engineer for Austin-Foust Associates, which has done road engineering for the Irvine Co. and the Santa Margarita Co.
