Insider Books on President Reagan

I never expected to be defending Ronald Reagan, but Regan’s criticism that the President never told him how to run the Treasury Department, seems unjustified. The President should be able to expect that the former president of Merrill Lynch would effectively run the Treasury. Without having to tell Regan what to do, President Reagan gave us the trillion-dollar deficit and the $2-trillion military buildup, while transferring more money to the rich faster than has ever done by previous Administrations. And the President is still very popular. Is Nancy’s astrologer taking new clients?
