Richard Chamberlain had another winner with “The Bourne Identity.” It had more suspense and action than a James Bond thriller. And with a knockout like Jaclyn Smith, who needs a multitude of beauties? Smith probably got roughed up more in this miniseries (she was beaten, nearly raped and murdered, shot at and dragged around) than during her entire stay with “Charlie’s Angels.”
