Attorney Kenneth R. Heitz has been named executive vice president and general counsel at Columbia Savings & Loan Assn., Beverly Hills. Heitz, 40, has been a partner in the corporate and litigation departments of the Los Angeles firm of Irell & Manella since 1979.
