A forum to discuss senior citizen issues will be held Thursday for candidates seeking the 42nd Congressional District seat, which is being vacated by Rep. Daniel E. Lungren (R-Long Beach).
Betty Goyne, center director, said most of the top candidates--including county Supervisor Harriett M. Wieder; former White House speech writer Dana Rohrabacher; Stephen Horn, former Cal State Long Beach president, and former White House advance man Andrew Littlefair--have said they will attend.
The free, public forum is being sponsored by the Orange County Senior Round Table, the Costa Mesa Senior Club and Westminster’s city government.
It will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Westminster Senior Citizen Center, 8200 Westminster Blvd. in Westminster.
