Those who work at banks, savings and loans, insurance companies and other financial services firms rate their work life more favorably than employees of any other industry, according to a survey of more than 5,000 workers nationwide.
The survey, conducted by the Wyatt Co., shows that financial services workers give “above average” ratings to such key work-related issues as working conditions, supervision, internal communications, training and job satisfaction.
Pay, however, rates low on the list--about the same as other American workers rate it.
Employees in manufacturing give their jobs the lowest ratings in the survey.
