Rudolf Nureyev will appear in two performances of “Cinderella” during the Paris Opera Ballet’s June 14-19 run at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa.
Nureyev, artistic director of the company, will dance the role of the Producer at 8 p.m. June 14 and at 2 p.m. June 19. Nureyev has placed the action in 1930s Hollywood: the “prince” is now a leading man in search of a new leading lady, and the “fairy godmother” is a producer-director intent on creating a star.
