Catching its own blooper, De Laurentiis Entertainment Group said it expects a net loss of $69 million for the fiscal year ended Feb. 29, not $34 million as reported a day earlier. The smaller figure is the expected fourth-quarter loss, the Beverly Hills film producer said. De Laurentiis also said its impending offer to exchange new bonds and stock for its $65 million of its old bonds must be successful if the firm is to be able to get enough additional capital “to survive as a going concern.”
