Dykes Accepts Offer From Texas El Paso

Linebacker Billy Dykes of Kennedy High has accepted a scholarship offer to play next year at Texas El Paso, according to Kennedy Coach Bob Francola.
Dykes (6-2, 230), an All-Valley League selection last season for the Golden Cougars, joins two other Kennedy players who have received full scholarships to attend Division I schools: Running back Ron Hardy will attend Oregon and defensive back Tony Brown will attend Fresno State.
