Darrell Fick, associate coach for the USC men’s swimming team the last five years, has been named head coach for the USC women’s team, athletic director Mike McGee announced. Also, two-time Olympian and former world record-holder Cynthia Woodhead has been named assistant coach. Woodhead graduated from USC in 1987.
Fick, 32, replaces Don LaMont, who resigned last month after nine years at USC. LaMont, had a 70-25 dual meet record.
