Praise for Judge

The article “Judge Dorn Lays Down The Law for Juveniles” (Metro, June 19) is certainly required reading for every law-abiding parent in Southern California! Parents do not always raise law-abiding children. If your child does not keep regular hours, bring home good grades, or treat you with respect--shouldn’t you ask yourself if you are doing your job?
We should applaud all the Judge Dorns for their tenacity! We know that some will oppose his methods. But how can anyone criticize the results of his long hours and hard work in trying to make future citizens out of our children?
