Two new home-building companies have formed in Orange County. Carlan Homes Inc. in Tustin has as president Robert G. Reese, former president of the Southeast division at Kaufman & Broad. Rockfield Development Inc. has been started in San Juan Capistrano by Tim Unger, formerly president of Barratt-Irvine.
Carlan said it has acquired land in Yorba Linda, Moreno Valley and Lake Hills in Riverside County.
Rockfield said it has acquired land in the Inland Empire communities of Fontana, North Etiwanda and Rialto.
