Police questioned a Glendale woman about the shooting death of her former boyfriend in her apartment early Wednesday.
Delia Lombardo, 24, was released pending further investigation, Glendale Police Sgt. Dean Durand said. Police withheld all information regarding the victim until notification of next of kin.
Durand said Lombardo called officers shortly after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday to report that her ex-boyfriend was causing disturbances at her front door. As she was speaking, a police dispatcher heard what sounded like a gun being fired, police said. Officers who responded found the victim, who appeared to be in his mid-20s, dead in the apartment bedroom.
Lombardo told officers that two other people were inside her apartment during the incident, police said.
There have been no arrests, and no other details were available.
