FCC Indecency

The Federal Communications Commission recently fined KZKC-TV of Kansas City $2,000 for showing scenes of a bare-breasted woman.
The criteria the FCC uses for decency are unfathomable. It’s just dandy to gratuitously depict live human beings being hacked up with axes, slashed with razors, decapitated with swords, riddled with bullets, blown to bloody pieces with explosives, even dismembered with chain saws. A breast is OK if it’s attached to a rotting lacerated torso found on a beach after a particularly gruesome shark attack; but a live, intact woman’s breast, lord no.
Numerous studies have shown children display increased aggression and disregard for humans and animal life after watching violent television shows, including some cartoons. Psychopaths have been known to actually commit heinous crimes originally depicted on television. Relatively then, what harm can a woman’s breast possibly inflict on our society, including our children?
To stand up to such irrational censorship, I urge you and all your readers to help offset the fine levied against KZKC-TV by sending $2 bucks (.1% of the fine) to the FCC in Washington.
