Edison Wins Title in Passing Contest

The Edison High School team, led by quarterback Greg Angelovic, won the Orange County football passing championship at Rancho Santiago College Saturday.
Edison defeated Santiago, 31-20, in the final. Angelovic threw four touchdown passes, and Dana Ripley of Santiago threw three.
La Quinta won the consolation bracket, defeating Palm Springs, 31-22.
