Philip Morris Cos.’ second-quarter net income rose 31.6% to $627 million from a year ago. Revenue was higher at all five divisions of the New York firm, totaling $7.8 billion, up from $7.1 billion a year ago. U.S. cigarette operations gained market share during the second quarter, compared to a year ago.
