Scottish Firm Divests Holdings in Kerr Glass

Scottish Amicable Life Assurance Society, a Glasgow-based insurance firm, and two affiliates have reduced their interest in Kerr Glass Manufacturing to 4.8%, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The firm said it sold 54,800 common shares of the Los Angeles-based bottle maker June 9-14 at $10.13 a share. Scottish Amicable now controls 177,100 Kerr Glass common shares, according to the filing.
