A Series of Discovery

It was a pleasure to read Terry Atkinson’s laudatory review of the television series, “Only One Earth” (“ ‘Only One Earth’ Takes a Cool, Calm Approach,” (July 11). It was a double pleasure that Mr. Atkinson used PBS as the guidepost by which to measure the quality of television programs.
However, in praising the Discovery Channel for its current airing of the series, he neglected to mention that this “excellent, comprehensive and watchable course” aired first on PBS almost a year ago.
