Two Baseball Recruits Sign With Northridge

Cal State Northridge signed two more high school recruits to letters of intent for baseball, bringing the number to four players secured by new Coach Bill Kernen.
Greg Shockey, an All-Orange County outfielder from Mater Dei High in Santa Ana, will play for the Matadors, as will J. D. Haendiges, a left-handed pitcher and first baseman from Upland High.
Shockey batted .452 for Mater Dei last season.
