The Clippers have reached an out of court settlement in their litigation with former UCLA star Marques Johnson, who hasn’t played in two seasons, the club announced Tuesday.
No financial terms were announced, but the agreement makes Johnson an unrestricted free agent able to sign with any other National Basketball Assn. team.
“I am pleased to to have put my differences with the Clippers behind me and I look forward to resuming my basketball career,” Johnson said.
Johnson was injured in a collision with teammate Benoit Benjamin during a game two years ago and hasn’t played since.
