Players International’s Earnings, Revenue Rise

Players International’s earnings rose 17% in the first quarter that ended June 30 to $51,400, or 1 cent a share, as revenue climbed 47% to $2.7 million.
The Calabasas company said revenue in all areas of business increased from a year earlier. The company’s main business is Players Club, which offers members discounts at gaming resorts such as Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
