Police on Sunday were seeking a man who fired a shot at a couple in parked a car early Saturday morning.
Janice Pelino, 19, and Gerry Saradpon, 22, were parked in the 1900 block of Altamont Court about 1 a.m. when they noticed a man staring at them from across the street, according to San Diego Police Sgt. Jim Long.
The couple became alarmed and began to drive off. As they did the man ran toward them and fired a blast from a shotgun through the window on the driver’s side.
Saradpon received a number of pellet wounds and glass cuts to the face and Pelino suffered superficial cuts to the arms and face.
Both were treated at Mercy Hospital, Long said.
