Costa Mesa : Concert Draws Only 8 Complaints of Noise

The Aerosmith-Guns N’ Roses concert at the Pacific Amphitheatre generated only eight complaints of noise from neighbors between 8 p.m. and midnight Wednesday, according to the Police Department.
“There are sometimes only three and four complaints. Eight is about average. Of course, there have been times when we’ve had 70 complaints. . . . This one wasn’t a real problem,” Lt. Dennis Cost said.
Cost reported six arrests: five for public intoxication and “at least one” arrest for driving under the influence.
