Times Poll Shows Negative Attitudes Toward Immigrants

The article fails to mention the opinion that I, and certainly millions more Americans, hold on the issue.
I am the grandson of immigrants and empathize with the illegals who have contributed to our society for several years and wish to legalize their status.
Simply put we have too many people here already--a lot too many. One can’t take a drive in the country anymore without being bumper to bumper with hundreds of cars. The mountains are crawling with people, the deserts abuzz with cycles and ATVs. Even the ocean is overcrowded.
I say stop all immigration, deport all new illegals, discourage early marriage and lower the birth rate by whatever means possible. One couple, one child is the greatest philosophy to come out of China since Confucius.
Why has no government official admitted that this opinion exists? Am I alone?
